Realistic Category

The Realistic category is not limited in subject matter.  The image should look like a realistic or actual depiction of the subject.  It may not look manipulated or enhanced in any way.  

Photographers may use computer image editing tools.  Enhancements of the image are permitted as long as the image appears natural or realistic.  For example, elements may be deleted or cloned if the manipulation does not change the natural or realistic look of the image.  An image done in HDR or panorama by merging two or more images may be entered in this category if the image looks natural and realistic.

Painterly, Artistic, Stylized, Distorted, Pixilated, Brush Strokes, HDR images that do not look like a realistic depictions, or other similar effects or filters are not appropriate in this category and should be entered in the Creative category.
